Happy last day of February! Spring is right around the corner… in fact, this week we took down our winter tree and snowflakes and painted cheery rainbows in art class.

With March approaching, our centers changed this week as well.

We chose pattern strips (like AAB AAB or ABCC ABCC), assigned colors to the letters and strung them on bracelets.

We zoomed through an alphabet puzzle with the help of a partner.

We matched words on keys to the correct locks.

Today, students from UPG visited us with some Dr Seuss fun! We made these fun socks from The Fox in Socks and then watched a skit of Thidwick, the Big Hearted Moose, on the stage.

Later, after reading a silly Dr Seuss favorite, There’s a Wocket in Your Pocket, the kids made pages for a Room 35 version! Aren’t these fun?

Have a silly, willy, hilly, nilly weekend!
