Hello December! It was a whirlwind of a week because I was focused on finishing a bunch of things before really jumping into full on holiday mode next week! (Because of this, I didn’t get many pictures- sorry!)

This week marked the final week of our letter sounds and formation instruction. Of course we will continue to practice them all year, but after a December review, we will be ready to start reading and writing words in January!

All week we read, talked, and wrote about holiday traditions. Not just December holidays, but those that happen all year long! Ask your child what their favorite traditions are for Halloween, Valentines Day, and birthdays at your house!

In math, we continued measuring the length of objects (below shows them working together to measure the table) and comparing lengths. The photo above shows a fun “game” where we compared cube tower heights.

In Top Secret News, we are working on a gift for you and can’t wait to show you. Next week on Elf Workshop Day (Tuesday), it will all come together.

Next week is Gingerbread Week! I can’t wait to share the fun with you, so stay tuned!
