Hello families! This week we learned a new game (but this time it is to practice reading instead of math). It’s called Roll and Read.

First, we cover all the words with cubes. Then, as we roll a dice, we read the word in the correct column and if we read it accurately, we stack that cube into a tower above.

We did it!

Thanks to the Bruce family for bringing some special visitors to kindergarten yesterday! The kids enjoyed visiting with the chicks!

Today was the famous Mercy Watson’s birthday. We made toasters and wrote our favorite book and characters on them.

We ate toast (with a great deal of butter on it of course!)

And we painted some very inspired Mercy portraits. I think Mercy would have approved! 🐖🩷
